Heavy rain hit the greater Denver region last night, causing major mud slides and flash flooding, especially hard in the Boulder Colorado area. The overnight rain fell in a short period of time (3 hours) but brought 4-8 inches into certain areas, causing a catastrophic flooding situation that unfortunately claimed the lives of two individuals and washed away several homes.
The disaster response teams from Fire Water and Storm Pros both locally and regionally are mobilizing into the area to assist with flooding problems and help property owners recover. We have already fielded dozens of calls for pumping out basements, buildings and helping cleanup commercial properties as a result of the severe weather.
